Having steamed little neck clams in wine and garlic butter, deep fried Great Lakes perch, home made coleslaw, red potato salad and grilled corn on the cob.

Desert? Apple Cobbler and ice cream. And a watermelon fruit basket.

Lots to drink.

Well college football season officially opens today (I know there have already been a few games) Our Razonbacks will be playing at home but we won't be going: I want to pretend we are at the tailgate party so I am doing pulled pork sandwiches, and some other fall football stacks. I might make potato salad as well. the rest of the family will be tailgating, it is just to hot for us and those damn lawn chairs are hard to get out of, once you get into them.
