Pay day tomorrow and since I need to food shop, tonight it's tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches. It's cool and kinda gloomy today.

Since I got my drivers license renewed yesterday (finally) I am going to take myself to the next town over and find something there.

Happy eating people!
Do you do anything special with the Haddock or is it just salt and pepper?

I usually bake my fish and am looking for ideas for the cod that is on the upcoming menu.

Yesterday I opened a can of white beans-can't imagine what I bought them for- by mistake. Today I'll run to the store up the street, get some spinach and a carrot and make soup for dinner (to go with leftover ham).

I lay it on a bed of sliced lemons, then I mix panko crumbs with sometimes thyme or tarragon or dill whatever I feel like and grated parmesan, then sprinkle on the top, then a little melted butter on top. I bake at 400° for 20ish minutes depending on how thick the fish is.

I thawed a pork tenderloin to roast, but decided on Sunday dinner instead!

You'll make it, girl. And dinner sounds good anyway!

Tonight we're having french toast and sausage links. I'm using a recipe I haven't done in years that we used to love. $1 french bread, sliced thick, with cinnamon, sugar, and whole milk in the egg dip. $1.88 brown and serve sausage links. Hellooooo, payday...where are ya?

Hilarious! Why? That's what we are having. Look at my earlier post. Great minds (again)!
