Just back in town from a short Floridian get-away. Sigh, back to work tomorrow. Picked up some egg drop soup for dinner to ease back into non-vacation eating.

We had a late lunch today, so probably we'll have a salad snack before it gets too late. Neither of us is particularly hungry.

Mostaccioli with mixed salad greens, smoked turkey, orange bell pepper, black olives, cheese and balsamic vinaigrette. It was really good.

Anyhow I have been trying very hard to not have any "dead animals on the plate" when we eat together. Broccoli and cheese soup last night so I guess I'll make mac and cheese with salad tonight. When they leave Wednesday I'm going to the farmer down the street and take a bite out of the side of one of his cows!

You're funny!!
