I sent us a Swiss Colony gift basket because of nostalgia for my family receiving them in then 80's from my grandfather. So, dinner is a smorgasbord:

roasted delicata squash halves with butter and brown sugar

saltines with sliced summer sausage, Colby & brick cheeses, and a soft smoked cheddar wedge

Toast with butter and marmalade

Wilted spinach, because I feel there must be something green

Jrsygrl, sorry to hear you all are sick with head colds. Hope everyone feels better soon and gets over their colds. I bet the homemade turkey noodle soup will be of some help to everyone's recovery.

Lilly, do you make a pork soup, and if so, could you please post your recipe?

It's November 30th, and that means 30 cent night at our social club. 30 cent shots, and 30 cent sandwiches and fries. I have to work tomorrow, so I can only have a couple of those 30 cent shots. It's the first day of buck season, so it probably won't be very crowded.
