We did christmas today as my husband came home from his trip this morning.
Christmas Dinner tonight:
Swedish Meatball bake with Dill Havarti and Jarlsberg cheese on top. Caesar salad. Sparkling cranberry juice to drink. Sugar cookies or carrot cake for dessert.
Spaetzle, Rouladen, steamed cabbages with onion and caraway was just overruled by SO. Sugo with fettuccini, salad, pannetone (my store bought treat!) and a glas of bubbly for desert. We are iced in!!!
It's been pouring non-stop since yesterday, no end in sight. So far, over 5 inches of rain, 8 by the times it's all said and done. Turning to ice and snow. I have no voice, sore throat and feel a cold coming on. Chicken soup, toast and tea with honey, maybe a hot toddy in front of a warm fire.
