Seems like alerts and warnings change so often it is hard to know what to believe. I do know I will never go back to the margarine i grew up on.

I thing the low-fat, high-carb diet that we were told was the healthiest way of eating for so many years is probably the main cause of the obesity epidemic. Even now, as a diabetic, I'm told I should be eating more carbs and less fat than I think is healthy. It's hard to believe they're still recommending that way of eating.

And I totally agree about butter vs margarine.

"Milk does a body good" ranks way up there on my list. I realize that it's a very contentious issue, but personally I am not a fan of dairy as health food.
