I suppose there are foods that, if eaten together, will help achieve the best nutrition or otherwise healthy results? This is like the opposite of "don't each A and B at the same time: it will cause blah, blah". Any?

For good health, I use sweet potatoes. The best thing about sweet potatoes is that they're naturally, well, sweet. Simply steaming the tubers (skin on!) readies them for eating while preserving maximum nutritional value, but they're delicious when baked, boiled or even stir-fried.

Salad + full fat dressing. Forget the day free crap, use olive oil or some other fatty dressing since vitamins in salad need fat to help them be absorbed more efficiently.

Lemon with any protein source will help to improve iron absorption. Next time you have a plate of Mexican black beans with rice, squeeze some lime on there. Delicious!

Lemon with avocado is great too.

Add oils to your vegetables for optimal vitamin absorption.

Pineapple is a great fruit to end your meal with. Bromelain enzymes helps aid in digestion. Good stuff!

Leafy greens with both vitamin c (like citrus juice) and oil will help you best absorb the nutrients.

Cooked tomatoes and oil activate the lycopene.

Rice and beans make the protein "complete" with amino acids.

Vitamin A is also best absorbed with fat too,
