How long was the longest period of time during which you didn't eat at all? How did you feel?

I tried a fasting diet,,,, my sister gave me a book 25 yrs ago about cleansing the body of all the toxins and impurities,,,

so, I fasted,, didn't eat a thing all day but water ,,,got a bad headache took some aspirin,,,got hungry and very irritable
I had a very physical hard labor job,,,not an office job,,,i was a butcher, worked in the cold too..

so, the second day I was feeling weak, cold, and not good at all,,, I was trying to fast for 4 days

work was very very difficult, again,,,a tough job.
I got half way thru the second day, was using the bandsaw to cut pork loins and felt dizzy and damn near blacked out , could have easily lost a finger or hand ...

it turned into a dangerous situation so I went to eat something,,, a pizza

I felt like chit and wont do it again..

I went a day and a half....

one other time I had a bad stomach flu.... and went almost two days ..everything I ate came up

Over 24 hours. Both when I was very young and silly. Both when drugs or alcohol were a factor.
Don't advise it to anyone.

I always drink but I have easily gone the whole day without eating quite a few times. Either I didn't feel well to begin with (my appetite is the first to go when I am sick) or just was out all day really busy and forgot to eat. I will marvel at bedtime when I realized I had nothing or barely a bite of this or that. I have felt fine but often ravenous the next day if I am better.

I think the longest was probably 2 days with just drinks or clear soup.

I fasted for 4 days once. I used to regularly fast for 2-3 days (by regularly I mean maybe twice a year), haven't done it for several years though.

My ex-wife also convinced me once to try one of those "cleanses" where you eat nothing and drink this drink made of fresh-squeezed lemon juice, water, honey and cayenne pepper. I think we did that cleanse for 4 or 5 days.

I'm on the 5:2 intermittent fasting diet so I fast twice a week.

I drink green tea and miso to keep my electrolytes and metabolism up on fast days, and there is a 500 calorie allowance too.

Overnight. Haha I get grouchy when I'm due for a meal. I'm sure I've gone longer, but it would have been due to illness or a hangover, so not on purpose.
