Green peppers just over power the whole thing for me... that is all I taste ...and
since they are an unripe vegetable, so I was told...they give me an upset tummy.

I might take off pineapple...but I would take one bite first at least.
that's it...I'm a go on anything else!
So in a group that is my input...I don't think that's terrible...2 things.

Oddly enough.... I want bell peppers on my pizza.... but when it comes time to eat a slice... I pick the pepper pieces out.

I guess I like the juices of the peppers as it cooks to permeate. But to eat the actual piece... too overpowering. Does that make sense????

Pineapple. Fruit does not belong on a savory pizza! Even worse when it's syrupy-sweet canned pineapple (which it usually is).

I like pepperoni, sausage, bacon.....that's about it. I can deal with mushrooms, but green peppers and onions kill me...and no fruit or fish or chicken...those things do NOT belong on pizza!

I wouldn't order pizza with something that I would eventually pick off.

And you mention mushrooms and onions. Again... I like them COOKED on the pizza, but I pick them off when time to eat. I like the juices of the flavoring that it adds.

It's subtle, without overpowering.

Yep... I'm weird.

The more I think about it... my mother and step-dad had this 20+yr ritual of every Sunday night. Mother would take a Tombstone pizza and proceed to load it up with all sorts of extras! That sucker was LOADED with extra meat, veggies, cheese, etc. It was tall and thick!

It was their ritual. They loved it. Occasionally I was invited. As a result... I do the same thing, sometimes. Except... I take the onions, peppers, mushrooms and basically pulverize them into a puree.... and mix it up with everything else, before spreading that extra top layer of goodies.

That way I get the subtle flavor without the overpowering flavor. Make sense?

Onions, anchovies, mushrooms. Sometimes I use a napkin to soak up some of the grease too.

I may even pick the sausage off the pizza if it doesn't taste right. This is rare though.

The only thing I know I don't like is mushrooms. And I will tolerate them, if they are in tiny cooked pieces. Big pieces come off.

I've never been near an anchovy, so no idea if I would like them or not.
