I would also rather eat plain white rice than any recipe with bacon or seafood. I think both are inferior protein sources (I can't stand their taste) that cause health problems.

Oh and there's ketchup, I bet you eat that...

We all have different taste and different levels of tolerance. What is real is sales numbers and obviously Lipton tea bags, bacon and seafood sell well and most Americans enjoy these foods.

To each his own. I don't like marshmallows, but I don't care if other people eat them.

I don't like ketchup, I like bacon, and I love seafood. I only eat white rice with sushi. We like what we like.

Apparently, I'm not a tea snob - I do have others (Earl Grey, Ginger, Lemon Zinger, English Breakfast, green tea, loose tea, etc.) - but for mornings, I want my Lipton - shoot me.

That's the great thing about life in the United States of America - you are free to drink hot water. Cream and sugar?

It's kind of surprising that replacing 100 individual teabag envelopes and two 1" x 8" thin cardboard strips with four thin cardboard trays and four golden mylar tray wrappers represents a cost savings for the company.

I wonder if the individually wrapped bags are still available to the food service industry; they did add a sense of sanitation.

The person above who pointed out the subjectivity of "favorite teas" was correct. We all have our preferences, and insulting other people's preferences isn't really the point of this thread. The OP had an issue with how the packaging of their brand of tea had changed, and how it frustrated them.

I thought tea was supposed to be relaxing...
