My guilty pleasures:

chocolate cream pie
pistachio nut ice cream
almond joy
just about anything with coconut

I have to be really careful with all of them.

Pumpkin pie and chocolate fudge walnut brownies.

AND I don't need either of them, just ask my waist line.

When I was in the Chicago area, I would buy a pint or 2 of Jeni's brand ice cream every other month or so, and that stuff was $12 a pint!* I'd also shoot for the unconventional flavors like Yazoo Sue, Goat Cheese and Cherries, Oregon Fir, Raspberries & Sweet Corn, Peaches & Biscuits, Bangkok Peanut, and Savanna Mint. 3 scoops of their ice cream also cost $6.50 last I was there.

Now, I do a buffet every now and then... Mexican food, Mediterranean food, Indian food, pizza buffet.

*I'm amused how recently, I initially hesitated to buy a $5 pint of some gelato at some supermarket, after spending $12 from before

When I'm home alone, I'll decide to bake something (cake, pie, brownies, etc.) and end up devouring some of it (well, a lot of it) when it is still warm from the oven, washed down with several glasses of milk. DH will come home and say, sarcastically, "Thanks for saving ME some!" Then I'll exercise like crazy the next day to burn it off.

Yesterday's guilty pleasure was Pennsylvania Dutch "Funny Cake", which is basically a chocolate shoefly. I had three pieces of it while the chocolate was warm and gooey.

I stop into a KFC. Nobody does chicken better! Love their mashed potatoes, cole slaw, and the gravy!

All summer long, I just dig into chocolate fudge ice cream...like a pig! Sluurrrrp!
