Good one. I can't stand mayo on its own, on a sandwich, as a spread etc. However, I do like foods in which mayo is a major component (i.e. ranch dressing, chicken salad, tuna salad deviled eggs).
My husband thinks this makes no sense, but for me, the mayo aversion is primarily one of texture and smell, and if those things can be mitigated, I have no problem with it.
The only way I can eat onions are if they're in Chinese food.
