Cheese on any seafood is vile, in my opinion. I know someone who shall remain unnamed (fine, I'll tell you -- my ex-husband) who loved shrimp Parmesan. Yes, gooey melted cheese (which I love) on shrimp (which I love too), but never those two shall meet on MY plate.
This is where we must part ways......tuna melts are oh so good. Put them on a marble rye with Swiss. HEAVEN. Did I mention I love sandwiches?
Agree. A good tuna melt is hard to match. But I think the operative here is that you're putting cheese on a sandwich with tuna salad, which is nothing like putting it right on a tuna. I certainly wouldn't put cheese right on a piece of fresh tuna. Yuck.
Ummm the Filet of Fish at McDonald's has been made that way for the past 50 years....however, my bigger question is, why do they put half a slice on it!?
Oh no, I'm outnumbered here. Maybe that's why I'm getting used to hearing "You want cheese on that?"
But just on the McFish!!
