SeaPak Wild Alaskan Salmon Burgers - 10 ct. - Sam's Club

sams club sells a box of 10 for about $14. i tried em and thought they were pretty good. absolutely no fishy taste to it at all. wonder how much of it is actually salmon vs filler. seems to have high protein, which is good. grilled on an iron skittet with cheese and it is all good.

No I haven't but, they sound good. But, the price makes me think they have filler in it.

I recently tried salmon burgers for the first time..... BLEH! I absolutely, without a doubt, completely ridiculously HATE THEM!

Vile things.

I've bought them a couple times. They're okay. My problem with them is the smoke flavoring they put in the burgers. It "stays with you", if you know what I mean.

Edit: I should add that the ones I've tried are Trident brand from Costco. Sorry, I assumed Sam's Club and Costco basically sold the same things. I'd make a wager that they are very similar, though.

Look for Blue Horizon Salmon Patties in your local store. Less watery and without the laundry list of ingredients such as liquid smoke. Probably not the "deal" of SeaPak but you get what you pay for usually.

We love the Trident salmon burgers from Costco, also the Trident fish sticks, which are my emergency dinner now.

I am thinking Salmon burgers or patties are one thing I would prfer to make from scratch. I just think, regardless of the brand they have fillers and I want the real thing. If I am putting a filler in mine, I want to know exactly what the filler really is.

I've never bought the prepackaged ones but Whole Foods makes great salmon burgers. I especially like their spinach and feta version.
