I don't like it either. Unless it's surrounded by chocolate.

Me too! I hate peanut butter, can't fathom ever eating a peanut butter sandwhich of any kind, hate Butterfingers and any other number of peanut-based candies ... but my favorite candy of all is a peanut butter cup. Chocolate and peanut butter make a magical marriage, lol.

I loved eating breakfast tacos when I lived in Texas, but people looked at me weird when I said hold the salsa. I'm OK with it for lunch or dinner but not in the mood in the morning. I don't like mixing the tomatoes with the eggs inside the taco (and to a lesser extent the potatoes).

I despise the smell of buffalo wings, it actually makes me sick. I've asked to move to a different table at restaurants a couple of times. And beer is horrible to me, too. Never liked it.

Then why go to restaurants that serve wings and beer? At least you asked to move rather than demand others move. (Saw that two weeks ago....a woman started a real row with the manager because he wouldn't move a table near hers that was just served several plates of grilled fish. ...she wouldnt chang because she liked the window.)

There's only one place I go that serves buffalo wings, I go every once in a while because I love their pizza, which is their main dish. Most of the time there's no one having buffalo wings, because I go when it's not crowded. There's usually empty tables, I can always move. It would never occur to me to demand that someone else move. In NY, that would be responded to with 2 words. And they're not "happy birthday".

Now I'm craving buffalo wings - love them IF they are crispy and not "slimy/soft". LOL (as I sit here in snow, waiting for even more snow and won't get out for days)

Like a lot of others, I don't get why people eat grits. They have no taste and just feel like watery mush in your mouth. They aren't as big here in the north but often they do serve them in breakfast places.

A more popular food I'm not wild over is pasta. Once in a while it's ok but I know people who eat pasta at least once a week, sometimes more.

I switched to vegetarian a few months ago, and wings are something I knew I would miss. But then we found a great vegan place that make buffalo "wings" of Tofu and tempeh. Tastes just like real wings, no lie. I wish I had some but I'm snowed in here, too!

Misery loves company Sounds interesting, have never seen that anywhere - still have to say though, related to topic: I won't try/don't want to try sushi, I don't like cooked fish, I'm certainly not going to eat it raw.
