Misery loves company Sounds interesting, have never seen that anywhere - still have to say though, related to topic: I won't try/don't want to try sushi, I don't like cooked fish, I'm certainly not going to eat it raw.
I have a good friend in Arlington and she's been sending pics all day so I know what you guys are getting. I'm near the Jersey shore.
Can't wait to go back to Alexandria Old Town. Love the history and atmosphere. I think I had good wings at Murphy's Irish Pub.
I'm not a sushi person, either. I have tried it, and while it wasn't as bad as I dreaded, it isn't anything that makes me go, " Oh man, that was SO good!" It's just eh.
Hmmph. Though I loathe, hate, and detest kale in any of its ubiquitous forms, I love sushi and cilantro.
That's ok, you can have mine.
I just heard from a friend that a mutual acquaintance accepted an early retirement package. He used the funds to buy a Kale Me Crazy franchise. The menu isn't bad, but the name would keep me from walking in the door in the first place.
Salads and coffee to start. The list is very long for me. Steak- I'll eat it if it's set before me but I never make it or buy it myself. Alcohol in general. If it's a special occasion, sure. On a daily or weekly basis because it's the weekend - no. Sushi? Disgusting. Pizza - okay I like a very specific kind but I never buy it on my own. It's usually in a group: "Should we get a pizza?" and I say "I only eat Hawaiian style." I remember in high school when it was pizza day for lunch, the smell to me was sickening. I never ate it until I was in my 20s.
Mac and cheese, especially when its made with velveeta. Its everywhere even some upmarket restaurants have started offering lobster mac and cheese or salmon mac and cheese .... blech !!!
I don't like anything with cloves as a flavour in it. I swear I can taste a single molecule of the stuff. Yuk.
I don't like clove either. Its ok in a spice cake with a bunch of other spices, but not by itself.
I could live without pancakes, noodles or waffles or biscuits. Not much of a "dough" person, I guess.
I don't drink sodas either.
