Fried catfish is a restaurant staple in these parts, and very few folks are aware of the most tasty part of a fried catfish - that crispy, crunchy, savory tail fin.

We were at a catfish restaurant this evening and I got a few curious glances from fellow customers when I snapped-off the tail fins from our catfish and proceeded have a nosh-fest. I'll bet they give that crunchy fin a try the next time they order fried catfish.

Anyone else tried fried fish fins?
