As I've stated, this thread is concerning bread where the main attraction is the bread.

Most of the stuff sounds like a sweet pastry of some sort.
I am not eating sweets for breakfast. So, German rye or pumpernikel for me

I am not a big fan of sweet in the morning either. For me it's either English muffins or scali bread in the morning.

Swedish coffee bread. Sliced, toasted with butter.

Not a fan of sweet stuff either...if I have bread in the am....it's a tortilla. They tend to bevthe only bread we have in the house. I really don't think the op gets to decide what is a bread anyway by only his overly controlling view with some of what he's included.

What is the difference if someone has cheese or peach jelly on toast or grills a cheese quesidilla or smears jelly on a tortilla breakfast?

Because I was too lazy to explain for "other" (I really prefer Hawaiian bread!), I put pancakes as a second, though I'm not always in the mood for something that sweet.

Isn't it wonderful that there are so many tasty carbohydrates to consume for breakfast!
