Read again, and look at the pictures. Those fish look like what you call black sea bass, do they not?

My favorite kind of fish is the kind that isn't on my plate.

I hate fish. All fish. I would rather not eat it ever.

I chose the crab stuffed salmon for myself, and silver corvina for DH. It was pretty good. Cooked mine in olive oil with salt and pepper, five minutes each side, covered for the first five. Had a nice caramelized surface.

Silver corvina cooked for a little longer time and turned out flaky (which is fine), added garlic because I thought it needed help.

Served with wild rice and asparagus (on sale for 1.97). Will get three great meals out of this.

All great suggestions here.

I've become quite fond of the large variety of fish caught in the Caribbean/Amazon/South America.
VERY low mercury content, all wild-caught, and even their catfish (Gilbacker) is extremely good...
Grey Snapper, Hasar, and even the herring found in Guyana is delicious.

If you have a Caribbean market nearby, you should be able to find quite a variety that we simply don't get in more mainstream grocery stores. It will be frozen, but is still very good.

I think you're mistaking tilapia for carp. Tilapia has no connection to goldfish.

"crab-stuffed salmon" is your favorite fish?? Where do they live?

In that case mine is spicy tuna. Likely only found in the Indian Ocean.

Walleye, perch, brook trout, pike and catfish -- if freshly caught by yours truly.
