I dont like salmon AT ALL. I will eat 99% of seafood but as a preference I like a good meaty white fish like mahi mahi, sea bass, shark (omg I love shark), trout, red and flounder. I also dont mind swai if I am putting it in a taco. Aside from the "white" fish I am a total freak for tuna. I love tuna raw, fresh, in a taco, in a salad, etc etc.

The oilier the better. Salmon, tuna, and white fishes bore me. I mean they're OK, but I prefer something with stronger flavors. It baffles me when people say they dont like fishy tasting fish. Mackerel, sardines, anchovies etc. Give em all to me ....yum

should we hate the lions ? no they are magnificent beasts
everything we eat, can be made into an evil item,,,
Well, that was quite the tangent.
All I'm saying, and I won't anymore, is I can't eat things that eat p**p.
Nothing 'evil', lions are great and so are bottomfeeding catfish...can not
place them in my body.

The cheap ones. I eat canned mackerel, which is half the price of salmon. The mackerels are canned whole and pan-fry quickly, and I rinse off all the juice from the can, which gives them more of a fresh-fish taste. I cover them lightly with a sauce of mayo, mustard, cayenne, lemon juice. I save the can liquid, and put it in vegetable/potato soup later on, to make a fish-flavored soup.

I also eat frozen catfish nuggets (probably Chinese -- who cares?), pan-fried dredged in cornmeal.

Not too many fish taste any better than fried catfish.

DH won't eat salmon, he says it's too gamey so I have no idea what other fish tastes alright or what to avoid. TIA

I love salmon. I will not eat any "farmed fish". It's just gross.

Here in NE Ohio we have perch and flounder. Local fish is your best bet!
