I had to feel around for a few moments to find whatever it was I'd dropped in there. Not only could I not stop thinking about what could possibly happen to my fingers, I had scum on my wrist and hand that had been clinging to the underside of the flaps. Yuck.

I hate touching raw chicken.. always feel like I have to wash my hands for a long time whenever I go near it (obviously you have to if you touch raw chicken)

I do love chicken though

Um, that's what the dog is for. It's a fair trade off...dog eats all fallen food, and in exchange, I vacuum up all dog hair on floor. Seems fair to me!

LOL. I used to mix their dog food (w/ egg, rice, etc. with an immersions blender and once it went all over the cabinets which made me jump and spill most of it down the from of the lower cabinets.

Called the dogs and they licked the cabinets like lollipops.

Otherwise they sit outside the kitchen area (not allowed in) until I call them to eat any spilled items on the floor.

The Springer Spaniel we had years ago did an excellent job of cleaning up. While he was rather well behaved, you couldn't leave him anywhere near a child with an ice cream cone.

I keep a box of gloves to chop onions, handle meat, polish furniture. Polishing furniture with lemon oil gives me the creeps without using gloves, slimy hands and my nose starts to itch. I buy the box of powder free latex gloves so I don't have to feel the meat and other things. I use them to clean out my refrigerator and clean my stove stop too. I don't like to get the junk under my nails either.
