It's new today around here, so we got some for lunch because today's proceeds go to Meals on Wheels.
There are 3 options, lettuce and tomato, bacon, or Steakhouse. We opted for lettuce and tomato.
IMO, it was too salty, the meat was unremarkable, and since it comes with mayo, mustard and those vile pickles, none of which I like, I did not care for it.
I rarely go to McDs, but on a trip last week my boys talked me into it and I had the one with mushrooms. I liked it better than the hamburger I would normally get. I still like meatheads better, or my own hamburgers.
I thought that today, too. Here they are, breaking out this new burger, and yet there is nothing new about it.
They are advertising a new grilled chicken sandwich, and I'm thinking, good, they're finally shifting to a healthy menu, but now I really have no desire to try it.
as kids we loved going there it was a rare treat by our grandparents
t see the golden arches,,,we got excited!!
I didn't go to mcd's for 6-8 yrs,,,then I stopped for a 1.00 large coffee,, then tried their oatmeal,,,with apple and nuts,,,,and now I stop about every day for the 1 dollar coffee and maybe oatmeal,,
I really like the frappes and shakes but try to avoid them
and I almost ordered that 1/3lb burger today,,,maybe tomorrow ill order it after seeing all the good reviews

I can see that this thread is already going off topic. This thread is about the new 1/3lb burger at McDonalds. Posts are not to be about other fast food places, chicken sandwiches, being vegan, or the price of eggs. Please keep posts on topic. Thanks!
