Automated vending machines seem quite popular in many workplace cafeterias, gymns,train and bus stations,interstate rest areas.I think they are far from obsolete.

They had them in Amsterdam last time was there.

Lol iv never heard of them before, though the picture looks familiar but Iv never see them around.
globally, im sure there are but in the US, not so sure how common they are.

Maybe somewhere in the world.


There were quite a few in NYC when I was a kid.
I read that the last one in midtown closed in 1991.

Thanks for the picture. I tend to think that they do exist in Europe....but have disappeared in the U.S.
