In america you have to label the ingredients for food products that you sell. However if you genetically modify garlic into an onion, should you label it as a garlic or an onion?

I guess in this case, after eating it / examining it as the average person there is no immediate or mid term way to determine it isn't an onion.

You just set my opinion. I tend to agree, it should labeled I guess. I am not sure about your emotion or calling it "crap". But People are dishonest and would knowingly sell a unsafe toy to a child. really, all moral bets are off. many people just don't care.

good news: I bet the next evolutionary step starts in less than 200 years. well, it started already. I just hope we don't kill ourselves before we finish.

Why should it be labeled?
Can't we just assume that it is GMO "crap" unless otherwise labeled "non-GMO"?

Like produce, for example--it is considered to not be organic unless it is labeled organic.
