I'm making chicken feet broth for my pup's joint health. In googgling for recipes, I saw different storing times for broth in the fridge from 3 days to 10 days. I tend to make regular broth enough for a weeks worth. But for pup, since I'm using less and is going to be jelled (is naturally gelatinous), I'm thinking of freezing in ice tray for that since I doubt I'll use it up in a week.
Yeah I was just trying to not freeze it as it's easier to scoop out a tbsp to put in pup's food. I am thinking I will have the ice cube tray and then nuke one "cube" in a ramekin and put into her food. The things we do for pup!

How long do you store yours?
I freeze it using about 1 to 2 cups per zip lock. I have had some for only God knows how long. Yes, you could use the ice cube method as well, just I prefer a little more at once.

I know, it doesn't seem like it should go so fast, right? Seems like every time I keep it in the fridge, thinking I'll get to it fast, I pull it out a day too late and it smells yucky. I think it's smart to just freeze it (I try to just do it that way too), but if you're making it each week anyway, maybe just try to stretch it for a week in the fridge and see how it does?
Freeze it in plastic zip lock bags, or freeze in those plastic freezer containers with the red lids.
Pour into large mason jar for fridge if it will be used soon.
