Default It's Super Bowl Sunday! Going to a party or staying home...what will you be eating?

We are invited to a Super Bowl party. The hosts are doing a Chinese buffet along with various appetizers. It's going to be a lot of fun. They always have the most amazing SB parties.

Is anyone else planning a party or going to one today?

I'm making some baked potato soup as we speak. Then I'll have BBQ pork and slaw sliders, mini pizzas made by cutting tortillas in circles to put in the bottom of a cupcake pan, put sauce and pepperoni and top with mozzarella and bake till the cheese melts, then lil smokies cooked in chili sauce and grape jelly, dip and chips and raw veggies and mini cheesecakes using ground up oreos for the crust. I think somebody else is bringing one more sweet.

We are having my adults sons over plus cuban family friends over so it is to be a big Cuban feast with lechon, black beans and rice, plantains, yuca, garden salad as the main.

To snack on we have the standard chips and dips and also are picking up the best wings from our local place ( sports grill ), celery/ carrot sticks and blue cheese dip, and of course assorted drinks for both adults and kids.

Setting up two tv's one in the main living room for the game and another one on the lanai area where the food will be placed to accommodate the very rowdy mix of men of which will be hooting and hollering.

I won't be watching it, as I don't care for football. I'll probably just cook up some steak and chill with a glass of wine listening to my favorite music.

I will have lunch this afternoon with friends as usual on Sunday afternoon.

I might look in on the game, but not really interested in the Super Bowl until the Oakland Raiders are in it again. And that looks like it will be a while!
