I saw it for the first time last Sat at our farmers market. I almost purchased a plant but decided to buy the lemon mint plant instead. I need to find out what to do with mine a well.
We grow it, along with a bunch of other kinds of mint. We use them all pretty interchangeably.
For my money, the different mint varietals, chocolate mint, lemon mint, apple mint, etc. aren't strongly enough flavored around the peppermint essence that it becomes a huge deal. It's not like it's strongly chocolatey, or anything.

I used to have a pot of it, on our deck, I would sometimes just pull off a leaf, & have it instead of a cookie, if I got a craving for something sweet. I need to buy a new one. You could probably use it as the flavoring ina chia pudding, if you like those.
