Keeps bugs out, if they have a bug problem. Flour weevils and ants, for example.

Nope. Too late. My local Target and Walmart have Christmas displays up already. Thanksgiving was in July. However, I will smoke a turkey, and a ham and attend the family Jerry Springer style holiday gathering.

****, Mrs. NBP is on to Christmas already. She said something yesterday about putting lights up after I take the Halloween ones down.

I have yet to procure my Thanksgiving meal, lol. Duck season just opened and next week I go pheasant hunting for a week.

With any luck I'll have a roasted mallard and pheasant for Thanksgiving.

I made fourteen frruitcakes in July. I'll taste the first one on Halloween. There'll be another for Thanksgiving along with mince pie and brandy sauce.

I'll be the only human in attendance. It will be turkey or duck for the primary entree, but my dog really does like steak so she'll have a nice one with the fat removed.

I'm considering a farm raised wild turkey or a duck. I sometimes experiment for Thanksgiving. Christmas is the day when it must be turkey.

I'm ready.

I have been eating my traditional Thanksgiving dinners all year. Because of that I may have an untraditional meal - time and appetite will tell.

Alaskan King crab will be in season so my thoughts are leaning towards that direction.

Probably gonna stock up a week ahead because Whole Foods is quick to run out of ham and other Thanksgiving essentials.
