So I had to google what steak pudding was. It seems like what we would call a beef pot pie, minus the vegatables. Occasionally I will bring barbecue home on Friday night, the other night I brought in Mexican food. It is nice to eat at your own place without having to cook.
I guess for me it was some Chinese food. If I'm doing take-out, I either do that or maybe a gourmet submarine sandwich from the local deli. $17, but it's pretty good.
OMG, $17 for a SANDWICH?? I would hope to eat off of that for 3 days!!!
For me, last week had Paradise Bakery (aka Panera Bread), some kind of superfood salad to go.
In The UK, "takeaway" is the same concept as what we in The US refer to as "take-out".
That being said, I rarely do "take-out", but every once in a while I will stop at Panera on the way home in order to get a prepared salad to bring home. Salad prep can be too time-consuming if you get home late and just don't want to do anything other than eat and then relax.
Earlier this week, Indian food take-out from our favorite local place. Relatively cheap and easily feeds the two of us for two meals apiece - it's a nice break from cooking.
