Do you like eggs on your pancakes? or waffles? why do they serve them that way, I like my eggs seperate, and I even ask if they could put them on a seperate plate, but they still come on my pancakes
How do you like your eggs and pancakes?

I'm like you---if I want to mix them at some point I want that to be my idea, not theirs!! Now my hubby always wants his eggs on toast, pancakes or waffles. That's what he wants---not me!! So I agree...if "I" want it a certain way that's how "I" want it!!

Yeah, if I'm in a restaurant and get an egg/pancake combo, I will always put my over-medium eggs on the cakes. The cakes absorb the yolk. . .

Wow, I've never had my eggs served on my pancakes or waffles & I've eaten at SO many breakfast restaurants! From many Waffle Houses's to mom & pop shops. But now I'm gonna have to try it!!
I think that eggs would taste better on waffle as they would hold together better. It seems as if pancakes would get soggy & well, I do not do soggy.
Ok, now I'm hungry....

I have never had eggs served on top of my pancakes, but if I did I'd take them off as I wouldn't care for it that way.

Hot cakes and eggs on one small plate is okay. The yokes are never broken so a person can easily move them to the edge of the plate. Besides there is no bread or toast with that order so a person uses the hot cake to absorb the yoke, no biggee. Stefhen

This describes us.
I actually do like to have at least one of them on, but I tend to want it to be my idea.
But we mostly have eggs at home rather than at a restaurant, which ensures us getting what we want.

An egg on top of pancakes with cooked, creamed tomatoes poured over it is so good it's all you can do to sit still and eat it. Sorta wants to make you jump up and shout.
It's a W.va thing. They know how to fix flapjacks.
