To me, big also includes 'fancy'.
egg-white omelet with...
Steak, ham, turkey, cheese, onion, tomato, olive, mushrooms, green peppers.

Belgian waffles too!

Don't know about China, but in Hong Kong they love their congi (spelling) it is similar to what you are talking about excpect the base is rice that has been cooked til it is more of a think soup. I happen to love it. In fact I have made it at home a few times.

Afternoon - my one meal a day
4, maybe even 5, eggs over easy fried in bacon fat
6 strips of bacon (crisp; no sugary maple cured junk; thin sliced)
3 or 4 Bob Evans farm sausages
Hash browns (crispy exterior)
Pumpernickel toast (whole wheat OK but none of that molasses sugared up junk [not even sure that exists anymore - I want bread, not cake])

Mr C has ordered something quite similar. I sure couldn't eat that much. Even sometimes what I order, can't finish. I end up saving for next day. If I did have lots of those items, it would have to be early enough in the day to be able to walk some of those calories off.
