I cannot find creme fraiche in any supermarket near me.
I got mine on Amazon Fresh. So easy to place an order and have your goods brought to the door, especially when you've got little time to do shopping in person.
I hardly ever use a recipe, I wing it, so the thing I use most often, is full fat plain or greek yogurts. If I make a soup & I want to make it creamy, I add that. I mix it with fresh garden chives for a baked potato, or put it in an omelette. I like sour cream, but rarely buy it, as it would go off before we could use it all. I would only buy one of the fancy creams, if I was cooking for company, for the two of us, plain yogurt works just fine.
