What’s more, researchers have found that repetitive facial movements, like sipping through a straw, can cause fine lines and wrinkles.

There's even syrup of some sort in the bagels' water bath-slash-poaching liquid, plus the sugar or malt that's already in the bagel.

You're better off that way. I never do. I hate click bait.

A legitimate story NEVER makes you click through a dozen or more pages to view one or two pictures per page.

The bagels I've eaten in recent years, decades, aren't as sweet as the ones I had as a child. Those must have had barley malt syrup or some other sugar in the water. I guess you can still find those, but it's probably cheaper to use sodium carbonate.

Trivial health advice, the media degenerated to, is annoying, but it is not genetics alone. Environment matters. Most of the people eating low grade grocery crap look like crap, in my experience. Many had multiple surgeries, and multiple organs removed by the ripe age of 45. Most of that is partially self-inflicted.

Another variable is class and the kind of work you do. Working class folks cannot get away with the foods protected (from nasty crap) groups of workers, especially the ones that skim the top, can get away with. And yet the working types eat the most attrocious, processed crap, and it shows. A rare production line worker will be able to type ironic messages about defiant eating habits of pizza and coke when (and if) he'll hit 65 y.o.. But that time the pills will provide most of the nutrition.
