They trade on the stock exchange. They have to compete and they need to sell shares.

Except for Coffee Cream, I stopped shopping there for my groceries after opening a can of beets one week that were brown. I was so disgusted. I subsequently read about having to be careful about grocery shopping there because of the stock having old expirations dates and sure enough I noticed it to be all too true the next time I was there.

Actually, if Im there for the coffee cream I might pick up some Starbucks Double Shots for my DH because they too are priced well there and some paper/cleaning products. But I cannot stomach the thought of getting my groceries there any longer, even if the prices were better. Its just not worth it.
