I always wanted to try that dish, as it is what the Ingalls family ate for Christmas dinner during The Long Winter.

Then I made it once, and realized the trouble is I hate oysters.

LOL! I like them cooked, but raw is like eating a handful of alien snot.

Our dinner ended up with cheese sauce for the broccoli, and a bowl of berries for dessert. Nom.

Refrigerator Roulette
left over bbq, coleslaw, chicken casserole from last night, mashed potatoes, garlic toast, fruit salad and some little dab of mystery meal w.a.y in the back. As long as nothing is crawling or growing on it, it's all good.

Having lunch with a friend. No dinner for me. Husband will be having ham and eggs and biscuits and gravy. He will be a happy camper. He loves the biscuits and gravy from this diner I am having lunch at. (They were featured on a Diners, Drive Inns and Dives episode). I fry up some ham and eggs to go with them.
