I put together my dinner menu and I am content. I read Almrausch's dinner menu. Now I am not so content! Zucchini and tomato curry just sounds perfect. I am going to have to learn how to make it.

My menu for tonight is an apricot pork tenderloin with green beans cooked with fat back. I am using a recipe someone gave me over in the recipes forum. I will also make roasted potato slices.

Edit: Oh no! I forgot it's Pi day!! We usually do a savoury and a sweet pie. I will probably just make a custard pie for tonight's dessert.

gonna cook a lasagna I've had in the freezer for awhile. We need the freezer space and lots of activities going on tonight with staggered participants.
wedge salad with bluecheese dressing, craisins and ripe pear slices with candied walnuts.

We haven't even discussed it yet. I'd be happy with picking up McDonald's (I know, I know - THERE'S a shocker! ) but I don't know if he wants to. We could always just have sandwiches - I picked up some bakery croissants, lettuce, and tomato, and some turkey from the deli - I could always just make sandwiches. We have ham and swiss cheese too, or I could make egg salad. For some reason, he's been keeping hard boiled eggs on hand. He has them on salads, I make enough egg salad for like two sandwiches.

That's probably what we will end up doing - making sandwiches.

So I hope this means your son is not in the hospital? Good news. Enjoy your steak and get extra bernaise sauce for me to enjoy vicariously.

It does. We hope it will stay that way. It's touch and go.

Thanks for the post and thoughts regarding our son.

Address? I'm taking you up on your offer, maybe probably. Which I was grateful to see!
