We are going to be out most of the afternoon and will be watching the Redskins when we get home, so I had to think of something I could pop in the oven. I decided on a pot roast. It is my favorite, all in one dish meal. I will make a small salad as well.

The kids are all home and wanting something comforting since the wind chill is -3. Since I'm still not 100% yet, I'm calling Texas Roadhouse and they can pick it up. Steaks, loaded baked and sweet potatoes, salad, warm yeast rolls with cinammon butter. We'll eat in front of the fireplace.

Very rainy and soon to be very windy here. Totally ruins our plans to go skiing today. Where's my snow?
Any who I am still going to make French dip sandwiches in the slow cooker. I think I will make a macaroni salad to go with it or maybe oven fries.
