This is one of those great meals that make really no sense ... other than I am getting rid of old salad greens, leftover fried chickens, several other leftovers from earlier meals and some pita bread I imported from Cleveland months ago (and has been in my freezer since).
Our daughter is out of town, we have invited our son in law over. Of course before dinner he and hubby will enjoy a couple of scotches and I will sip (sure I sip it) my wine. I am having chicken piccata, pasta with pesto and a green salad. Probably he will want home made blue cheese dressing, so will I: spoiled brat will simply have oil and vinegar dressing.
Swedish meatballs with gravy and noodles, I might make some peas.
