Breakfast for dinner: Grilled bratwurst, eggs with cheddar cheese and onions. Rye toast with butter. I opted out of eating the bratwurst because I wasn't in the mood.

Green chile chicken stew, leftover lemon rice with scallions, and a salad with spicy ranch dressing. Thank you, Alm, for the lassi recipe--drinking some right now.

Home made Italian subs on flatbread.

Ham, mortadella, salami, pepperoni, provolone and gonna throw some pepperoncini's and maybe a little onion too, tomato might find it's way on board if the bread is stable enough to bear the load.

Tonight's dinner:

Caldo de Siete Mares
Caldo de Siete Mares (Soup of the Seven Seas), served with flour tortillas

It was a huge bowl of soup similar to Manhattan clam chowder, loaded with at least five types of fish, shrimp, scallops, mussels, and squid. It was almost as much as I could eat for $6.95.

Wonder why I am not going out to dinner house chains like Applebees or Chilis?? The two of us had full meals and beverages for $16 at a local ... grocery store.
