I always find cooking this is far more interesting than the actual eating (I cannot twirl the spaghetti around my fork without making a huge mess of the bolognese sauce going all over the shop)
Diced Garlic cloves
Red Chili
Freshly grated Parmesan Cheese.
Tomato Puree
Beef Stock Cube.
red wine
Fresh Rosemary.
Basil
Oregano.
Bay Leaves.
Olive oil.
Beef Mince.
Spaghetti.
Diced Smoked Streaky Bacon,
Chopped Tomatoes.
Chopped Medium Onions,
Diced Carrots
Sea Salt and Black Pepper.
I had a hard time figuring out tonight's dinner. It needs to be quick and fairly easy. To make it really difficult I am bored with the usual suspects. So I finally decided on shakshuka and whatever bread looks good at the bakery. I should probably throw a salad together too but I doubt I will.
Fried Chicken - from Roundy's Pic 'N Save. I have an in store coupon, 8 pieces for $6.00 (usually it's $5.00), but six bucks is still a good deal, plus it's quite tasty and seasoned perfectly.
Baked Potatoes with butter and topped French Onion Dip
I stuffed some multi colored peppers with ground turkey and rice, poured some leftover marinara sauce over all, then sprinkled cotija cheese over all. Sliced cucumbers for a veggie and watermelon for dessert.
