Just sayin': you need to send some over. Actually, I do have some beefsteak (or something like it) and San Marzano tomatoes planted and am hoping for the best.

Dinner tonight: After a grueling three hour exam with the best eye specialist in Delaware, I decided to treat myself to my favorite meal at my favorite Chinese restaurant that just happens to be near his office: shrimp roll, wonton soup with extra scallions, and shrimp with lobster sauce.

The real positive of the visit is that since I will be going every week for at least four months, I can stop by my favorite Chinese place every week if I want to. The downside is that I will be going every week for four months and insurance does not pay. Hopefully, with these treatments and lots of Chinese food, I will be good to go in October.

Wow, that dinner sounds really good toosie! Thumbs up to your husband too for doing most of the cooking.

I'm not sure why I don't live at your house. Every one of your dinners makes me drool.

I'll have to see what varieties we have planted. Some beefsteak type, a Roma type, and something else, which I have forgotten. Love to try the San Marzanos, though. Perhaps a tomato exchange?

Works for me. I just hope that I actually have tomatoes to exchange. With the storms that we have had the past two days, I have been concerned about them but they seem to be fine so far.

I know; after the first one, ours were flat. We got tomato cages, and the plants made it through today's storm much better.

Baked potato with cottage cheese, buttered corn on the cob, and the rest of the cake for dessert.
