Well now that I'm living the single life again, I think I'll ramp down my usual Sunday roast and opt for something a little lighter - might try my hand at something Italian for a change - Pappardelle & meatballs, certainly appeals:-

chopped onion
olive oil
freshly ground pepper
streaky bacon, chopped
fresh white breadcrumbs
parsley, chopped
beef mince
pork mince
egg yolk
red wine
tomatoes, chopped
tin chopped tomatoes
pappardelle
grated cheese

ZolaLloyd - you did not say what time. I will bring the wine and a healthy appetite.

Something off the grill. Probably chicken breast, salad, some pasta. 8:00 am and pushing 90F.

I'm trying to decide between making chana masala and stacked roasted vegetable enchiladas. I want something that will last so I won't have to cook anymore before going on vacation in a couple of days. I think I'll let hubby decide when he gets home.

The heat indicies are going to be 107-109 again today, and I'm in no mood to spend it in a hot kitchen. I'm opting for make your own sandwiches day. Italian roast beef, Virginia ham, roast turkey, provolone, Swiss, lettuce, tomato, red onion. Deviled potato salad, dill pickles. Fresh fruit for dessert with pound cake.

i was planning on marinated chicken on the grill but my mom changed everything up by getting the crock pot out at 5 am and making a gravy with boneless pork and sausage's followed up with some ziti. Fine with me as i really didn't feel like cooking today.

Cooking wars at my house. Happy Sunday all!

I had planned to serve, make your own sub sandwiches, with 4 kinds of cheese and 5 lunch meats to choose from. The meats are all from the deli. A couple I was able to freeze last time cause I had just purchased them. Now they are thawed I am stuck. Dinner? well it may end up being fancy sandwiches, fruit and maybe potato salad, or I might just toss the meat I don't want to freeze and take some salmon out.
friend did bail so we are having make your own subs, fruit salad, chips and ice cream bars.

St. Louis-style pork ribs in the oven. I've never tried making them before, nor have I ever been to St. Louis. They certainly smell like they're going to make a nice supper, though.
