So many great meals tonight! Happy belated anniversary to the Almrauch's.

I haven't really gotten my appetite back since the stress of Hell week - last night DH grilled and I had a burger, tonight he had the leftover grilled sausages and I had a glass of chocolate milk (ovaltine).

Tuesday: I'm early I know, but I can't turn my mind off. I would have been celebrating my 25th wedding anniversary. I'm going to make a crock pot of homemade pasta fagioli, and some warm crusty bread with seasoned olive oil. I've bought a bottle of johnnie walker black (his favorite). I'm opening that and having a shot or 2. I'm buying myself a shimmering bauble, and quite possibly a piece of cheesecake from the Cheesecake Factory!

Good for you! I might do something like that for what would have been our anniversary next year.

And you should. I know if Bill were here, he would have bought me a diamond ring, took me somewhere away as a surprise which he was famous for and send me a dozen roses. Plan on celebrating. You deserve it!

I think we will have our last meal from Blue Apron gift. I believe it was Korean Rice cakes with chicken. The picture looked good. Obviously accompanied by a few brews.

Jrsygrl51, wish I could join you in a toast to your dear husband. I can't even begin to imagine what that's like. Don't forget to have that cheesecake either!
