Celebrating DS birthday. We're having steaks at Texas Roadhouse, loaded sweet potatoes, green beans with bacon, sweet tea, and yeast rolls with cinnamon butter. DD ordered his cake from Ludger's Bavarian Bakery here in Tulsa. (Marble cake with fudge icing and raspberry filling. His favorite)
I am babysitting my Niece and Nephew today, we are going to go check out a Family night dinner at a local church.
They are making Southwest Chicken with sides and a dessert table..
It's different and we have already went swimming and a mall trip and they are starting to drive me batcrazy..
I'm thinking a salad. I might go a little nuts and make myself a Duffy Pancake (family recipe - almost like a Dutch Baby) or I might fry up some Spam and go nuts - we'll just have to see. We have decent TV to watch tonight for a change, so whatever I decide it will be good - we will watch together and munch on whatever dinner ends up being, and yell at the contestants on Master Chef. Good times!
Mac n cheese with green chile and bacon. I found some fresh Hatch chiles at the store and roasted them. This was an incredible find, I haven't seen them in this area before.
