last night of cooking for a couple of weeks; I have some Sam's terriaki (spelling) chicken I will put over ramen noodles instead of rice; so some frozen pot stickers and broccoli and cauliflower. Doesn't that sound like a home cooked, from scratch dinner? NOT. We are going to be busy getting ready for our 12 day exit tomorrow we will just grad something tomorrow night. No more cooking for me until Tues the 22nd.
I learned something today. Had to look this one up. Bon appetit!
I got some knockwursts at the Russian deli over the weekend, so we'll be having those with some cooked cabbage and apples, potatoes, and whatever veggie I end up with at the market.
We've been power-watching Land Girls and were inspired. Plus, we're all a bit stressed and depressed over the state of things right now, and it seemed like a good way to remind ourselves that others have faced much harder times than this and come through it intact.
Delivery from our usual pizza place. I think I'll do a kid's size thin crust pepperoni (well done, pie cut). Husband will most likely have a BBQ Beef and Fries. I guess. He surprises me now and then. Oh - and we always get an order of Chicken Tenders. Yes, for Chester.
Tonight I am ordering delivery-pepperoni pizza for the kids and a fried clam plate for me. I'm thinking root beer again to drink. Since I am feeling so over saturated about this election and I am just sick of adulting, me and the kids will eat dinner watching boomerang cartoon channel. If nothing good is on that channel I'm breaking out The Three Stooges.
Happy Tuesday to all.
