I have a Chicken Tagine with apricots and preserved lemons cooking as I type this. It's for Monday night. I love that aroma of cinnamon, star anise, cardamom, fenugreek, clove, garlic, onion, mace, cumin, coriander...

Spending today up in Vermont, they have more snow then us and we were jonesing to go skiing. Heading home soonish. It's not quite two hours so plenty of time to make carne asada tacos for dinner. I will have a Switchback Ale or two for LC's birthday!

The snow finally arrived! I already shoveled us out this morning! We ended up just stopping for dinner last night, I had a haddock sandwich and onion rings. Tonight we will grill and make carne asada tacos.

Here's wishing everyone a morning as happy as mine!
