I tried to feed grits to my brother when he came down from Montreal last week and he nearly threw up when he tried it, and then again when he saw my 7-year old slurping his down like it was the best thing on Earth.
That said, I normally just keep a tub of oatmeal at the office and eat that in the morning with a banana.
