My daughters leftover home made potato soup, full of crumbled bacon and caramelized onion bits. Served with a side of salad and a warm biscuit. Yummm.

Met a friend for an early lunch and had chicken souvlaki with two over easy fried eggs, home fries and dry rye toast. The chicken souvlaki was basically a marinated boneless chicken breast grilled with Greek spices. It was very good and VERY filling -- I only ate one half of a slice of rye toast but gobbled up the rest -- still full and it is almost 4pm.
