I picked a beautiful poblano pepper from the garden, sliced it up and sauteed in a hot pan with a bit of olive oil and salt. When it looked appropriately toasty I added several halved cherry tomatoes, also still warm from the garden and let them sizzle with the poblano for a couple of minutes. I put a handful of leftover bucatini pasta over top and lidded for about 5 minutes. When the pasta was warm I added 3 tablespoons of heavy cream, a sprinkle of salt and covered for another couple of minutes. Mmmmmm...poblano and cream is a heavenly combination.
