Kitchen waste reduction efforts mean leftovers are up for lunch, so I'll be having a small bowl of chili with a few tortilla chips made from ripped corn tortillas leftover from making enchiladas last week. (Cut tortillas into wedges, slap them on a tray, dab them with a tiny bit of oil, sprinkle them with salt, and bake them until crisp.) I'll also use some cut up cantaloupe, which is getting a bit soft, and a bit of mint from the garden to make a quick agua fresca to enjoy with my chili.
